Course Maintenance Related Help
How to Export (or Backup) Your Blackboard Course (HTML, ITI Flash Video)

Note: Use the export course feature to backup a course that is to be used for a course in the future. All CSCC class shells are deleted from Blackboard  6 weeks after the class is over. Be sure, if you teach a course just once a year and you are using Blackboard for that course, to export your course so that you will be able to have all your content restored the following year.   Exporting a course does not back up any student data - just content, assessment, assessment pools, and etc.
How to Archive a Blackboard Course (PDF, ITI Flash Video)

Note: Use the archive course feature to backup your course in its entirety - when you archive it is just like making a complete photocopy of your entire course including content, grade book, students, homework, and etc.  The archive feature is just used to back up your course in its entirety.  If you are wanting to make a copy of your course to be used in the future please see the above document "How to export your Blackboard Course"
