How to
Reset (Clear Attempt) An
Assignment |
Students only
have the ability to submit (turn in) a homework assignment using the Assignment
feature onetime.
Use the instructions below to
reset students, so they will be able to resubmit assignments using the
assignment
feature found in Blackboard 6. Note: when you reset a student’s assignment,
all submitted, saved, and graded
information will be lost and no recoverable.
2. From within the class clicks on the Control
Panel button.

3. Under the Assessment area, Click
on Gradebook
link

4. Locate the student who you wish to
reset, and click on the “!” or
mark. The lock icon generally
means a student is in the process of working on the assignment – but in many
cases the lock is show
as a result of a student becoming disconnected while submitting their
assignment.
5.
Next you will see
information related to the assignment: (Note:
picture below is just the right side of
grade book information)

6.
Click on the View
button to access the return assignment and feedback page.
7.
Clear
the assignment attempt by clicking on the Clear Attempt
button. The button is located in the
first section
of the page under the area Assignment
Information.

8. Now the student will be able to resubmit their
assignment once they go back into your course.
