are returned from
students using the Blackboard 6 Assignment feature. When you download homework

ITI Extra HELP - Explanation of .Zip
files contents:
NOTE: this example has the homework assignments being
gathered in the form of a PDF file.
Please understand
downloaded homework files will be in the format the student has submitted to
you as homework. Example: If your
students turn in Word documents as homework, then you will have Word documents
in your downloaded student
assignments file.
|
|
The .ZIP file will contain a text file and then all of the
student homework assignments. The text file contains the following information: dates
assignments were turned in each student, and any student generated feedback
given as a result of students submitting their homework. Below the text file, you will see all of your student
homework files. Please note that the
file names are made up of: Assignment
Title + Student ID + what ever
the student named their homework file. |

It’s always a good idea to create an area on your local
computer where you can store files, and information dealing with each of the
classes you are instructing. Why not
store downloaded homework locally and eventually having it moved to a CD for
archival purposes. |
