NEW Feature How to
Copy and Move Content In a Course or Between Course Sections |
This is without a doubt a feature
that you will find very helpful!
Blackboard 6, enables you to copy/move content
added to a course
to anywhere within a course shell or better yet, copy/move content into an
entirely different course section!
1. Login to Blackboard and enter the course
where you want to use the copy/move feature.
2. From within the class, click on the Control
Panel button.

3. Navigate to the content area where
you have content you wish to copy/move.
4. Start the
copy/move by clicking on the Copy button.


5. If you want to copy/move the
selected content to another course, use the drop down menu and select the
destination course.

6. Choose the folder where you would
like to copy/move the selected content by clicking
on the Browse button. The course
map of the destination course will display.

7. Using the course map, select where
you would like to copy/move the content. Course areas and folders may be opened
and
expanded by clicking on the + sign
(open) and closed by clicking on the –
sign (close). Once you have located the
area where
you would like to copy/move your content, click
on the radio button.

8. Press the
button to accept the copy/move location.
9. If you want the content to be
deleted from it’s old location, click on Yes – otherwise selecting No
will leave the content right
where you found it.

10. Click on the
button to copy/move content to its new
location.
11. You have just copy/moved content
with in Blackboard.
