Full-time Faculty serve as classroom instructors who are experts in their field as well as key leaders across the college in areas such as curriculum, instruction, academic support, assessment, professional development, program development, and career advising. Faculty are essential to the success of any initiative, especially system changes that impact the breadth of the student experience like a transition to a new Student Information System (SIS). Thus, all full-time faculty are required to complete the following training modules as part of their professional development to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the Workday system. These modules are all available online and may take up to 3 hours. Additional training modules are available for those who wish to learn more about the Workday system and how it will support student success, retention, and completion.
FT faculty are encouraged to start their WD 100 Series now and as the AU 26 semester gets closer, start on their faculty specific training. Some training materials are still under development.
To get started on the WD series (including WD 101, WD 103, WD 105, STU 200, and SE 201), go to: Workday Student Learning Center Organization on Blackboard.
